The new Lionel Hallmark ornaments.
Mr MUFFINS special run PRR Class A. Watch it on Whistle Stop Wednesday Videos this week. Stay tuned…
For Paula, two boxes of stuff from Scenic Express including 60 retaining wall sections. She is in charge of scenery for the layout.
Santa was supposed to have also brought a N and W vision line A but the ship must have gone the wrong way as no word on delivery. Maybe by the 12th Day of Christmas. We will watch Whistlestop Wednesday and pretend it is a N and W.
Not a train but my daughter made me a new Warrenville sweatshirt:
My Christmas layout looks so empty without the presents under the tree!

Santa Made several stop a my home throughout the year, so this left him time to focus the rest of you on Christmas, O, O, O ( cant say Ho hear)
I got these under the tree this year. I finally got the AtlasO "America Will Never Forget" set (thanks to my awesome wife!!!) She also got me the Chessie System T-Shirt from the C&O Historical Society.
Santa with help from Mr. Muffins trains, left a Lionchief Amtrak 50th Anniversary Genesis #46 under the tree.
Nice gifts everyone!!
My mother-in-law gave me a Charles Ro gift card, which I will put towards my Lionel Strasburg Decapod.

I've finally joined the ranks of the "Scale Modelers" with my first MTH Premier locomotive, Union Pacific #1111. She'll likely be second fiddle on my Big Boy excursion set 99% of the time but with an O-36 minimum she'll likely get plenty of solo runtime at events the Big Boy can't travel too. Even if my Big Boy is a railking model, it should be big enough to not matter for the events where they'll be together.
That UP Gp38 in the background is another gift, it's a Williams model so not as "advanced" but seeing as it's reverser unit has the same sequence as my Williams ACL GP-9, the two have quickly become work buddies for life. A duo of Williams dual motored diesels can likely move mountains so these two will quickly find themselves packed into train show away boxes for "Our command control is down, we need conventional!" moments.
Well, whadaya know? I'd ordered the UP F7 AAs and even though they came by FedEx Ground, they made it before Christmas! Nice going FedEx. Wifie ordered the powered F7B and it also arrived before Christmas. To complete the lash-up, I ordered the F7B Super Base and it's supposed to be here on the 29th. Looks like Santa certainly came through this year.
The last thing I thought I'd be doing this morning was buying trains. But eBay's saved search alert system sent an email listing K-Line's NP AA F units with 4-motors, TMCC, RailSounds, etc. at an exceptional price, and asking for "best offer." Five minutes later I'm the proud owner. I'll reserve my enthusiasm until they arrive and tested; but, for now, I'm pleased with the possibilities.
The item number is 175547612267; these are stock photos from the internet.
Merry Christmas to all!
Santa Claus experienced supply chain issues this year. Nothing that was ordered arrived by Christmas. I did receive an email from Santa’s branch office in Malden, MA indicating that a hopper set on order from January is finally in. No idea when the other stuff on order might arrive.
Curt
I was surprised by a ross 33" turntable next to the tree this year.

Thanks for sharing, I never saw these cars before. As a 9-11 survivor really like the car commemorating the date. I just went on ebay and found one and should have it soon. Merry Christmas to you.

I got to watch my grandson’s joy adding to his fleet, and rolling stock!
Lionel Legacy Strasburg SW9
MTH Premier CSX
and four additional Premier corrugated auto carriers
all in all a great Christmas for us both!
Thank you, 🎅🏻
Santa was with me at York and filled half of my van. Saved room under the tree and wrapping paper
I got a gift card, which means trains. Even though $50 doesn't go far in this crazy hobby, it will be well spent and gives me an excuse to dip in my pocket if I need a little more.
My Sparkly Judy had Santa deliver an MTH ps2 Premier CSX Genset like the one on Eric's Trains video.
( I've wanted one of these for a long time , she's too good to me )
Nuthin yet. The overseas elves didn't get it into the sleigh in time.😉
Hopefully, I'll see it by the beginning of next year.

You're welcome!
The 400e arrived just in time for Christmas Eve for me. My wife got the Atlas O bird oil pump, coil car and standard gauge freight cart set. My father in law got a Salvation Army boxcar.

I fully understand I got my C8 in October. My 19 year old Grandson sent this to me. I thought it was great. I enjoy the Corvette, but the trains came first.
I'm gonna say between 99 and 2012 were my years that I got trains as gifts from my wife,
They were very exciting times,
The layout grew and our trains around the Christmas tree grew, and we shared it at the time with the two cats that we had
Having trains growing up was what I think fueled my current layout, but since my current layout started around 98 most of my fondest memories now are basically on this layout
.Almost everything on this layout has a memory behind it that 95% of it is something my wife and I got together, we bought this here, we bought this there, or I got this for Christmas from my wife or I got this for my birthday from my wife.
And all the years with a Christmas layout with the cats and them having a little bed underneath the tree. The two cats passing and with us getting older and we don't have the energy to do it anymore . And if we actually did put it all up again, something would be missing, which is those two, They were a big part of the whole process putting it up and taking it down, they supervised and helped
My fondest Christmas getting a train memory was one year we opened all our stuff and I got a train car here and a train car there from my wife, and that was it all. It had to be about 1/2 hour later she had gone upstairs for something and comes down and says Oh I forgot this one present for you.It was a MTH railking engine, one of the ones that I had wanted. Most of my 12 or so MTH railking engines came from her, she gave me my first PS1 passenger set, she gave me my first PS2 engine
Anyway Merry Christmas everybody and enjoy those train Christmas presents it won't last forever
