Just curious what trains everyone is "saving" up for lately? I have my eyes on lionel neil young texas special, gold polar express, and Kline by lionel PRR aluminum Broadway set.

Waiting for Lionel's new beer reefers.
My reserve fund is in place for the eventual re-release and release of an improved Acela, TGV, Amtrak view liners, Amtrak ACS, scale Superliners. That's it for now!!!
If we are talking about trains that we want to have that have been made, I am looking to get all 20 NS heritage. I already have
Lionel: LV 8104, Pennsy 8104, CR 8098, COG 8101, Penn 1073
MTH: IT 1072, Reading 1067, JC 1071.
I have my eye on the Wabash on eBay!
MWAX516,
I am hoping for a Vision Line PRR T1, one with all the smoke features plus a set of drivers that slip just like to prototype.

A Jawn Henry I can afford!!! About the last loco I want for the roster.
Keeping my fingers crossed that Lionel or MTH does another run some day of the Lionel 390 two tone state green steam locomotive like they did back around 2008....
You guys and gals are going to get so sick and tired of my same old desire.
A New Clinchfield Trainmaster Challenger. Like the most recent releases of Lionmasters.
And!!!!!!!! OR:
A set of Clinchfield Railroad, EMD F7's or even really cool ABBA!!
Hoping Lionel will reissue the L&N F7 A-A's. It seems the 2012 - 2013 supply has dried up (6-34694).
Barry
I must be a little different. I sure don't dream of model trains!

That is my #1 "dream" engine too.
There is no engine currently made that I do not already have that interests me. Besides the T1, I would like Lionel to reissue its scale Legacy F3 in PRR as delivered scheme, and the PRR E6 4-4-2 is late 40s scheme. That would do it for me.
Hot Water.
Someone that made a living on the dang things that certainly don't surprise me.
Heck I don't dream of guns and badges either

A second UP M10000 this time in yellow & Brown, I already have my fathers Silver set, one day soon. Cheers Jim
Prewar 226E
Postwar 746 and a GG1
Modern PRR J
and to wake up Christmas morning and find them under the tree!
HOT WATER, lol but you don't have to dream about model trains to have a wish list

OK then, my wish list is for the Sunset/3rd Rail model of the CB&Q O1a 2-8-2 arrives as soon as possible. Followed by models of the CB&Q 2-10-2.
All things Strasburg.
Complete set of K-Line UP 18" passenger cars-still looking for a few...
I have had a great couple of months having gotten a couple of engines from my short bucket list: Lionel NS ES44AC, Lionel Reading Heritage SD70ACe, and an older Lionel B&O GP30 with the sunburst paint scheme!
Thus, my current list is pretty short. I would like the other B&O GP30 with the sunburst paint (#6939). I would also like to see someone make a scale Reading steam engine other than the T1, as I would like to have a pair to double-head.

As am I.
Something TH&B. I was on a sabbatical when the few that were ever produced came out.
Postwar Tuscan GG1, 746, one of the Virginian FM Trainmasters, 1872 General, Seaboard 601 or 602 Switcher
I'm still trying to collect all of the Lionel Hudsons. 4 down. 37 to go.
Also still have to do the Unstoppable inspired AC4400's and SD40-2's.
I'm hoping the GGD Silver Meteor will get made, other than that, I'm good to go.
I've been focusing on 4-8-4s recently. Next up N&W J 610 (MTH) and Union Pacific FEF-3 nos. 835 and 838 (Lionel).
Have someone make a Milwaukee SDL39. Hello, Sunset Models.
I ordered the Lionel Vision line as build old rivets GG1 4899, can't wait for it to come out! And hopefully Lionel will make a Vision Line PRR M1b,NYC J3a "Super Hudson" with scullin drivers and PT tender or a NYC Niagra some day!

My wish list is short but rather esoteric.......
East Coast - NJC DR6--4-2000 double cab Baldwin, Pennsy passenger sharks in either green or tuscan.
West Coast - SP 3 cyl Alco 2-10-4 or MT-4/5 mountain with vandy tender.
These have been made before but in sufficiently small numbers to make them unaffordable now.

I have a complete 6 car set, RPO, Baggage, Dome Coach, Dome Diner, Pullman, Observation. Would $500.00 +actual shipping interest you?
Doug
A reissue of the MTH Staten Island Rapid Transit S-2 20-20067-1 in multiple cab numbers - 800s please:
AND how about some Forneys? Bachmann has a nice one but it's narrow gauge sans TMCC/DCS:
Neither of those projects would require much retooling, if any. But if we're going to really dream, then I dream of camelbacks in wheel arrangements other than the tired old 4-6-0 that both Lionel and MTH have beaten into the ground. Hey, it's a "dream sheet", right?

I have collected everything required for my time period in history over the many years.

Doug, I have that set. Looking for 4690E/F and the business car.
Thanks though!
An Ives 3253 and a handful of appropriate 8 wheel Ives freight cars to go with it.
My Holly Grail is the Lionel Hiawatha at a reasonable price, a NYC S2, Southern Crescent passenger set, an Alakskan RR diesel for my ARR freight and a JC Blue Comet passenger set. Other than that I'm good.
