Actually, at this point all I need is time.
I'm hoping to find some scenery materials. Does anyone else at York sell that stuff other than Scenic Express who I know will not be there.
Michael
I'll be looking for some N-scale items . (I like looking for a needle in a haystack!)
I have a few things to look for from friends and a club member.
1. MTH 60’ or 70’ scale full vista dome DRG passenger car.
2. Lionel or MTH Reading & Northern center cupola caboose.
3. 2 BCRs - get those from J&W in the orange hall.
4. Postwar Alcos or postwar GP-7s
5. And now for me- Lionel Santa Fe smooth aluminum passenger car set from the 1990 that came with gloves to handle the cars with. I have the ABBBA set, just need to find the 5 car set with the 2 add ons.
6. See friends from around the country.
The great thing about York, is I will find something I did not know I was even looking for! HA-HA. You just never know what will be there and that is the super fun part!
I am not looking for anything specific. If someone had a bridge that meets my needs at a good price (double track, 30"-33") would prob buy it, also looking for the lionchief Brooklyn Eastern District dockside engine (missed out when it came out!), and I might be tempted with a model of one of the ugly duckling NYC electrics if I can find one reasonably priced. Then again, in October I came home with a standard gauge engine, so who knows?
Mostly it is to do something fun and do 'train bathing' , ie being immersed in the trains. Also meeting new people and seeing others I have only started to meet.
Whatever layout stuff jumps out at me. I do wonder if they'll have BCRs - I have been thinking of swapping out my PS2 batteries since I don't run the engines much.
The folks with the bcrs were at the October show, so prob will be at April I would assume.

You will find them at the J and W Electronics booth, (GG05) in the middle of the orange hall. I picked up 2 in October.

Not really looking for anything, just hoping to see a lot of friends.
Nothing😉
