At the risk of annoying dozens of toy train operators across the country, singles and five- to six-car sets of basic black steam era and early-diesel era UTLX and GATX tank cars. Since basic black probably wouldn't appeal to all that many buyers outside of scale modelers and high-railers, I would suggest a LIMITED run.
Sean, your nice pic looks a great deal like what I remember riding on when they were still in revenue service on the Tennessean. Even down to the different mix of cars. But, if anything it looks way too good. If Atlas wanted to duplicate the prototype I knew, they'd have to "weather" it up. Sitting in front of Buntyn Station, the engines were usually so faded you weren't even sure it was white on the nose...
A Grand Trunk & Western F3 or is it a F5 in the Green and Gold as delivered paint scheme
I'm always up for reefers...Chateau Martin had a bunch of different paint jobs that would be model worthy:
And even a wine tank car

I'd go for that. The assortment of light-colored tank cars put out by Lionel, MTH, Atlas, etc. bear no resemblance to the mile-long strings of black tank cars I remember seeing when I was a kid. I keep looking for black tank cars on the Bay but you don't see them often.
Another vote for the Chateau Martin reefers (with the express trucks) and the tank car. I've got Chateau Martin cars from Weaver and K-Line, but an Atlas version would be welcome.
