I didn't get my YORK notice yet and was wondering what is the last day to register?

I did the online registration a day or so into it being open. Never got a confirmation email. I emailed them separately as well, and never got a response. This is only the second York meet for me, but I'm surprised about the lack of communication.
Do it online. Its quick and easy. Havent got my badge yet either but its still a couple of weeks away.
You can always register Wednesday at the silver hall
Now that you mention it, no mail notice for me either. Are they not sending them out this year?
There is a thread 3 below this one where a response suggests they are late due to a registrar change and also not due until end of March if you mail.

If you're concerned about the deadline, just register online. Really reduces the hassle factor, and the extra cost is offset by not having to pay for two envelopes and two stamps (outgoing and SSAE), and you don't need to worry about whether or not they can read your handwriting.
Have the dealers received theirs yet?

Or, if push comes to shove, just register on site when you get there. Goes pretty fast and easy these days. However, the meet is still a month and a half away (give or take), so there's ample time for the mail or online registration. I will probably give online registration a try for the first time.
Allan,
I registered online for the 1st time since 1992, quick and easy. Costs $15.50 and they mail you the badge.
I still like the mail-in method with the 2 envelopes. I get that sense that York is in the air!
April 21 will be the very last day to register for Spring Meet 2018
Thanks for the reminder!!!
Seems a bit odd that while they've opened online registration, the website's PDF image of the York Meet mailer is still from the October 2017 Meet.
I was still able to register online tonight (it's now Monday morning 3/5), and the registration confirmation page indicated badges will be sent out after March 19th. So perhaps advanced registration might end soon... based on prior meets when the mailer was sent out. For example, the October 2017 mailer indicated that advanced registration would end on September 5th -- which pretty much puts us about where we are on the calendar now in March for an April 2018 meet. Just sayin'.... but who knows???

P.S. Ahh.... I see where somebody posted in another thread that registrations have been extended to end of March instead of March 5th (which would have been today). No mention of any deadline or extended deadline when doing the online registration though. Hhmmm.....

I registered online tonight (actually Monday morning after Midnight now), and received a confirmation email within half an hour or so... with the subject line: "Eastern Division TCA York Registration for <my name> <my TCA number>"
So you might want to look into things a bit further. Did your credit card get charged?
My notice is in today's mail per USPS
"informed delivery!!
I was considering joining the millennium and doing it on line, but I noted there was no field to enter your previous table location as there is on the mail in form.
I'll wait a few days more for a mailer, I guess. It's not obvious how the on-line form deals with previous table locations since it's just a check box with no field to enter your old location. If I am getting a table, I'd like to be able to request the same one I have always had (consecutively) rather than chance it and end up in a new random place.

According to the thing in the mail today, March 30 is the deadline for advance registration
On the notice it states to register online . BY PHONE 814-928- 0196. That should help with getting tables you want! I have not been able to go but used on line and got my selection white hall row B 19-21 sure miss attending. Considering my first adventure was at the Gurnsey Sale's pavilion 😰
My meet notice and my badge both arrived in today's mail.

I went back on the yorkregistration.org site. When I put in my personal info on the front page, it says I am already registered. I just sent an email to the registrar to try to clear things up. I definitely did not get any type of email this time. I'm sure they'll get me squared away.
Go To https://www.yorkregistration.org/ basic info on first page 2nd page select your choice for tables etc AT THE BOTTOM OF PAGE 2 Notes to registrar to request your tables and as I recall put in your hall, row, and table #s Make life easy for registrar!!!

A lot of us didn't get an email confirmation. I assume this because we registered during the transition period. No worries. If the website says you are already registered then you are set to go.

I've gotten in the habit of registering on Thursday morning when I arrive. Gives me something to do while I'm walking around waiting for the opening bell.

I reached out to Eastern Division President John Zobel and York Meet Chairman Mike Petronella. Here's the facts that John asked me to pass along: Our Registrar, and her husband who made up the core of our registration team have stepped aside and resigned from their respective positions on the team due to personal health matters and other family concerns. We have tagged our former Registrar, Debbie Geiser, to step in and take over this position again to get the registration process back on track. She has put together a fabulous team with a super work ethic and enthusiasm for the job. What everyone wants to know is: “when will I get my book so I can register for the April meet?” Good news, the books have been dropped in the mail yesterday and should be arriving shortly if the USPS does its job. Because of the delay in getting the books out the deadline for advance registration has been pushed back to March 30th to allow for our members to send in their registration at the reduced rate. With Debbie and her team in place we do not expect any further delays or problems with registration. There are new mailing addresses and some different phone numbers to call if anyone has need to get further updates or resolve any issues. The new phone numbers and addresses are clearly spelled out in the Registration booklet so I hope our folks will pay attention when perusing their booklet. There you go, right from the horse's mouth. I already said that on another thread a week ago.

The time and effort that ED volunteers put into the York meet is astonishing. It's a largely thankless job that only gets noticed when things go wrong. I thought of sending each person listed in the York notice an email to express my gratitude, but then I realized that another item in their inbox probably isn't helpful right now.
I encourage everyone to thank them sometime soon.
I received some great communication from the York folks. Also received my badges in the mail today. Very pleased! Can't wait for April!
I wonder why they can't send a badge as an image attachment, via email, along with the confirmation? That would make the process cheaper, and automated. That would also mean that the volunteers would have less work to do, and would save the stamp.

Ok noted I must have missed it Just trying to help.
Tom, No problem. Ed
ARTHUR, If they emailed it to you, you could make 50 copies of it, & sell them at the door for $1. each.
I can hear the announcement already: "Will the real Arthur Bloom please report to the TCA Registration Desk in the Silver Hall!"
