I found myself in a local "antique mall" earlier today. In one booth was a pretty good selection of early post-war Flyer, which was (all too typically) way over priced. Some of the pieces were quite nice, but still...

Anyway, the point here is, mounted along one of the shelves was a hand-written sign, proudly proclaiming:

"HO Scale Trains; see tags for prices".

A reason l don't bother going through antique malls anymore, and we have some huge ones on the Interstate.  Although, in the dim, distant past, l did make a few finds. Were those even above "price guide" prices.?  Charitably, you can consider the location  and assume ignorance of the market.  Or . "Throw it at the wall and see if it sticks" thinking.
