Where is the Atlas O Track? | O Gauge Railroading On Line Forum

Hello everyone,

I am planning a new layout and I was wondering if anyone else had difficulty finding Atlas O track? I live in Chicago and of the four train shops near me that carry "O" trains none of them stock Atlas O track. A couple of the clerks in the stores seemed suprised that I was even asking for it. I know that Atlas had supply problems in the past, do they still? Is Atlas O track worth the quest when GG is stocked at the local shops?

Please don’t make your decision based on the four shops in your area. They are behind the times. There should be plenty of Atlas track available. It’s a very popular system. Try one of the larger dealers on this forum. They would be happy to sell you the track from stock.

I don't have a local hobby shop so I have had to order on-line. My primary go to shop is Trainworld in NYC. The are running a 10% off sale until the end of May. The code is CC0515. They have just pretty much all pieces in stock.
