With ALL the Lionel experts here I can not believe that no one knows where this was made.
I am gonna guess, China. Now I will go look and see as I have a new one in the box..
Happy Railroading...
Well, I have the 6-24165 Lumber Conveyer, and the box says Made in China...So,
although I feel that I have this accessory to, but can not lay my hands on it quickly,
i feel like China is the Country that made this rerun.
Its a really nice accessory.
Thanks Leapin Larry. It is a fun thing all right. I hope I can sell mine.
AGTTA had one in their raffle and I believe the guy who won it said it was made in China
Considering the time it was made, I wouldn't be surprised if it was made in China. In 2000, Lionel was already being more competitive by producing many of its new locomotives and accessories overseas. The 97 Coal Elevator from the year prior was made in China, so it does make sense.
Thanks to all who replied. China it must be.
It should say China or U.S.A. on the box - maybe at a corner
It was China
