And Skip, if you look at that left hand window carefully, the one with the slightly reddish tint, you can almost just begin to see Rudolph's red nose come into view. Figment, my friend from Disney's Imaginarium, helps me with that. As does some scotch.

Have a Merry **** and a happy and healthy New Year. Loved the Santa Claus picture.

You bleeped out the four letter word beginning with an "X" and ending with an "S" that is short for Christmas !!! Bah, humbug.

5:25 a.m. here in N.C.

Merry Christmas everyone and kudos to those with a white one --ours is a wet one but Merry. And I am already having Red Velvet Cake and Milk for breakfast!

Anxious to go up to the attic layout and install my brand new Ash/Cinder Lift Tower from Grandma Santa [by David Duhammel].

ps: It is snowing at our Mountain Cottage perched at 4k' between Sugar and Beech Mountains. But alas, we no longer celebrate our family Christmas there.

A semi-white Christmas here in this part of northeastern Ohio.  More yucky slush than anything else this morning, as the paw prints my dog left on the carpet a few minutes ago will attest.  Still, there is a bit of snow on the ground here and there, and we're supposed to get hammered with a good amount of white stuff tomorrow (6"-12" predicted), just in time for the abbreviated work week.

Wishing all a Very Merry Christmas!

Nice coating of snow here in the Poconos. Perfect amount. Kids already opened their gifts....day started at 4:30 am. Anxious for sun rise to really see the snow. We have a group of 12-18 deer in our yard every morning on the wooded hill. Wonder if they will be moving this morning. No snow can be seen from basement where the trains are.

For only the 3rd or 4th time in history (well, at least recent history), north Texas is gonna see some snow on Christmas day. Won't start coming down until after noon - and they are saying 1-4" is possible. Of course, the snow is to be preceded by thunderstorms, hail, and a possible tornado.

The flip side to the white christmas is that the roads will all freeze up...which means every insurance exec in all of DFW will be perched high up in the top of Reunion Tower - getting toasted and bawling their eyes out as the year's profits get banged out on the freeways below.

Believe me, Texas cannot drive with (or without) snow. It only takes an inch to bring this town to a screeching - er, I mean, sliding, halt.

Don,

Now that is my wish for a "green"/white Christmas. Merry Christmas to all.

Merry Christmas to you Skip and to your family. We are absolutely having a White Christmas!!!!!! We had 6 inches of snow before Christmas Day, but at about 9:00 AM today, it started to snow. It is really coming down and we have a very white and a very Merry Christmas. Hope you all have the same.

Here in north-central Pennsylvania, we had snow yesterday, and it was still coming down as fine rain/ice last night.  Enough to make me reschedule the visit we were going to make today to my mother (we live next to a mountain).  Looks like more snow tomorrow, so at the moment, it seems like the next shot we'll have at it will be Friday.

Merry Christmas to everyone!
