After having seen the picture of the York box car, at least we know the Premier Train Master is in the catalog.

Hopefully there is a black & yellow Virginian in there for me!

Instead of the MTH 2012 Vol.2 catalog it should be called the MDH 2012 Vol.2 Catalog
Mikes Diesel House. Yes they've run out of steam in more ways than one.

100% CORRECT
How about throwing a bone to us Railking operators by making some powered "B" units or if nothing else a "B" unit powered chassis that could be swapped with the existing non-powered units. When I run my RI passenger set a single powered E-6 A unit hauls a dummy A & B, express service boxcar, 7 RK passenger cars( 16") and a business car. Just seems that w/o additional power this could, over the long term, shorten the life span of the engine.
Doug W.....an interesting idea!
Peter
Thanks Peter. I have been somewhat looking for a RK E-6 A unit with PS2 that I could swap shells with to come up with two powered units but then every time I ran them it would require setting up a "lashup". Whereas a powered B with the slave board would be good to go with the tether connection.
I'm always waiting for the next MTH catalog. In fact I'm going to buy everything in it as soon as I pick up my new Lincoln that they are building for me right now.
I'll pick it up in about five years as soon as that other guy gets done breaking it in for me.
Mario, give me a call I will break that puppy in for you, get a convertible, I drive it around D.C and wave hundred dollar bills in my hand and see how many politician we can get to follow me.
John
Wabash F7 please!
Harold
Lionel is doing that.

Joe G, MTH did produce a Premier Line A-B-A set of CNJ F-3's w/ PS2 in the "toothpaste" scheme...it was cataloged in 2004. Click here to view it on the MTH website. It's interesting that you mentioned it because I own this set and recently pulled it out of the box for the first time and set up an oval of track on the floor to test it out. I just finished packing it up and putting it away minutes before I saw your post. Maybe you can find a set for sale out there somewhere!
Joe: Just a note to let you know know that the NYC RS-1 received from you last week runs well and looks great lashed up to my NYC Lightening Bolt RS-1. Thanks

Bob ...Wrong Joe G .. I didn't sell you the mentioned engine ..

They made a very short run of them .. hopefully Mike will reissue
MTH 2012 Tinplate cover and 2012 Volume 2 catalog covers
Will the PS3 RS3s have smoke as catalogued? Or is just poor editing of boilerplate PS3 features?
Studied the two new catalogs online last night; placed my pre-orders by e-mail fter lunch today; and now just have to save up some $ to pay for those items and those from 2011 or earlier that still aren't in the pipeline.
Actually, I combine the cost of pre-ordered and undelivered to determine my hobby budget for the year. As a result, delayed production simply means that fewer of my dollars are available to be spent on new stuff.
They finally cataloged what I was waiting for, the Candian National Reefers with the special scheme on one side to go with the Canadian National Spectrum Pigments Cylindrical Hoppers for RailKing and Premier.

Got an e-mail from MTH answering my inquiry about the NS Heritage original Norfolk Southern Railway unit that was cataloged in the 2012 Vol. 2 catalog as an SD70ACe, if it would be manufactured as an ES44AC as is the prototype. The answer was "This engine is indeed being switched from the SD70ACe that was cataloged to an ES44."
