Who's going to Strasburg on the 6th of Aug?

I have not decided yet. I will be attending an event in Gettysburg the weekend before and staying with friends in the Baltimore area so there is a possibility.

Weather says it will be stormy - but we're still two weeks out, hoping it changes.

I'm planning on going.

Heading up there (again) to see old friends and because there is always a need for one more O-Scale thing.

I just completed a build of the Yarmouth Model Works PRR X31f boxcar kit. Which will be auctioned to benefit the Strasburg Fire Dept. Courtesy of Marty Brechbiel and O Scale Trains magazine.

I am told the model will be on display for preview this Saturday and auctioned during the October show at Strasburg.

This model is gorgeous. If I do say so myself. If you want to see it. Get to the show Saturday!

I think we are driving down for the show...will be my first time going.

Too far from mid coastal Maine.
Need to make it a vacation plan in the future.

I am packing 158 lengths on never used, never installed flex track for Strasburg.

Also  bringing one dozen #6 turnouts for sale.

It's not going to be snowing or raining herring, so I'm not seeing any reason to not be there!

Just finished setting up...I saw scores of low priced freight cars all over the place.  Several really nice brass Allegheny H-8 locomotives at great prices.

Take pics for those of us on the west coast!

Good meet yesterday!!   Very well attended for an August show and sales seemed good across the rooms. Managed to clear roughly 40% of what I brought and only acquire 4 items.  Was looking for a few more beat up IMP hoppers to play with.......

But saw a lot of folks that I know to talk to about "stuff"; kitchen was off-line yesterday.....no idea about what that was about.....

Yarmouth PRR X31f car, Sethian's Sinks diorama, and that Diamond Scale Turntable to be auctioned off at the Oct show to benefit the Fire Dept. were on display, too.
