I print mine on a laser printer on good regular bond paper. (good grade copy paper)

I then use 3M spray glue on the paper and apply the bond paper to poster board.....the regilar poster stuff....I get a pack of 12x17 pre-cut that work perfect for these.

I use a rubber roller to bind the paper to the poster board. Many folks will tell you 3M will dry out and come apart....but I have never had an issue WHEN I USE THE RUBBER ROLLER TO BIND THE TWO.

I then just use a new X-Acto blade and cut out all the parts.....Sharpies to color edges that may show.

On the fold lines I use a blunt large sewing needle (ask the wife/girlfriend) and a metal ruler to scribe a fold line.....using the metal ruler as a folding brake.

I use regular white glue to assemble the kit. As I go I add wood inside to stiffen and brace. I bought a bag of balsa 'sticks' for a few dollars.

Thanks. They look great.

Hello Swafford

There is a model train club in my neck of the woods, that makes their own buildings from photo quality paper glued to foam board. (Matt Finish) They take digital photos of famous local structures and produce these local buildings.

This is going to be one of my projects for the up coming Model Train Season.

Hope this helps.
