Very cool. My wife shows an interest in all the work that I have put into my trains, but has no interest in running them. One lucky guy!
@AlliesDad she got me into this hobby. She grew up with trains. I did not. Honestly, she rarely wants to run them either. She is an artsy person and likes to help with the scenery. I video taped this session because it is rare. She is not a big technology person and I was impressed with her running multiple locomotives on different lines. I do wish she ran them more. I have bought most of the locomotives for her, lol. She sends me links to Trainworld several times a week. She has 200 locomotives and rolling stock in her favorites. Lol
It is a great hobby to share with a spouse! My wife fully supports my hobby but has no interest in it. Her main concern is where I plan on storing my train collection more than anything else. I am not complaining!
I am thoroughly impressed! My wife enjoys seeing the fruits of my labor, but has never had an interest in trains, ever in her life. It's not being chauvinistic, but for her to have that kind of an interest is just not her cup of tea. I was an electrical engineer in real life.
