Will MTH ever make a passenger or eight sounds car like Lionel? I don't own any Lionel...Im all MTH products but Ive been watching some great videos on Erics' Trains You Tube Channel about these Lionel cars I and get a little envious.. ..it's a nice effect ....seems like a fun and easy product to make ...no? Do they think it's overkill? Won't sell very well? Any thoughts?

I hope MTH does. In the meanwhile, I have the Lionel and will get more when I have the spare cash.
I think MTH should, to compete more. I prefer the station sounds in the Diner car over those sounds comming from the Locomotive, like MTH does.
IMHO, MTH is focused on a PRice point for thier PAx sets. Right now MTH is in a status Quo with minimal product development other than adapting Christmas Led's on trains and the latest technology fad to run the trains.
I would love MTH to do some sound cars and also upgrade the sound on their locomotives. Sound is technology within reach - would gladly pay an extra $50 per engine for upgraded sound.
