I'm wanting to build a elevated bridge and didn't want any ballast on my track. I'm useing realtrax and was wondering if realtrax could used with it. Even if it dosent hook right up if anyone had ever done anything like this.

Yes, you could mate them, though they don't directly mate. Would require some soldering and setting your rail height to match.
The Gargraves 101-Trestle track looks the best. It has extra guard rails.
I don't think it matters which track that is used. That track can get its own power feeders. They don't have to connect.
The ScaleTrax is a lower profile rail height. Adjusting the height of bridge track deck to match the railhead height of the RealTrax would be necessary anyway.
If you want the track to be connected you could use the RealTrax 5" #40-1011 on either end of the bridge with the Gargraves on the bridge. The adapter track has Lionel O pin track joints on one end. Gargraves has GG to O connectors.(#801)
Just an idea... this would make a nice looking bridge and would not require extra wiring. Adjusting the bridge height would still be necessary to match the railheads.

I think Carl is right, which track you use doesn't matter that much except to get the look you want and the tracks don't have to connect, all they need is to line up and have separate power feeds.
