Thought this may be an interesting question/topic. You can learn how to solve many of the problems we face in the hobby through years of experiance. However if there is one thing I cant seem to deal with is the chronic "un coupling" of trains in long consists.(other than tie strapping)

I am going to Lash up 3 Legacy SD70ACE Locomotives. However I am going to put 30- 70 ton coal hoppers-15 of them die cast- in between the second and third locomotive..soooo.. two pulling and one pushing.I am going to find out for myself anyway but what do you think??? I suppose there will be significant "play" in between 60 couplers. Thanks, Nick

I ave done that many times with three MTH SD70ACe and 22 K-Line diecast coal hoppers.

We’ve done this with tow steamers and 65 scale reefers. I don’t think you’ll have any trouble.
