Hello,
I recently purchased a Williams brass "J", knowing that O-72 curves were specified by the maker. I'm curious if this engine will possibly operate on O-60 curves. I understand that sharper curves make for an 'un-realistic' appearance and that if the curves are too sharp, de-railment is likely. I didn't try to run the engine on my O-36, but after placing the engine and tender on it, the tender is almost 90 degrees to the engine. (Okay, maybe not 90, but at least 89!) I do have O-72 track, but I'm wondering if I could have a inside loop using O-60 and still operate the engine. Thanks for helping a newbie.
