Howdy. I have a recently purchased a Williams UP 44 Tonner (Item # 23107) with True Blast Plus. I love this little unit except for one thing: At various and sundry times the unit takes on a life of its own as far as the horn and bell operation. They just start up; sometimes they shut off after a bit and sometimes not. I have cleaned the track (it needed it). I thought that might be the issue. It did not make any difference. The devices sometimes start at a turnout or at my one 90 degree crossing but not always and those are clean ( I believe). Am I losing contact at these locations for an instant and that is causing the operation to start? Recommendations would be appreciated in solving this. It is sort of like the locomotive is controlling ME! I'm pushing on the buttons to shut features off.
