Good evening,
Does anyone know who repairs the Williams Crown Edition locos? I have a SP Daylight GS4 and a PRR K4s with side rods that are falling apart.
Many thanks,
John

Yes I know a great repairman who worked for Williams Electric Trains and actually designed the scale Hudsons. He also has tons of Williams parts. Shoot me an e mail and I'll give you his contact information. My e mail is in my profile.
Thanks Patrick--just sent you an email.

Trumptrain, How about sharing this resource with the rest of us on the forum?

Yes. Please.
Sure no problem at all with sharing resources. I'm always happy to help out fellow train folks! I just wanted to check with my Williams repairman first before posting his information publicly here on the Forum. He's had some health issues and I wasn't sure if he wanted a deluge of trains repair related phone calls at this time, however, I just spoke with him on the phone and he gave me the go ahead to post his information here. So here it is:
Franck Vacek - Phone 410- 465-3782 Call only between the hours of 2 p.m - 7 p.m. His mailing address: 4921 Alice Ave. Ellicott City, Maryland 20743
Frank worked many years for Jerry Williams when Jerry owned the company. Frank is a great repairman and has many of the original Williams parts and the inside scoop on Williams original products. He is a bastion of knowledge and historical information. His own personal collection of Williams trains is astounding!!
I wonder if OGR would consider doing an interview with Frank? Just putting it out there Allan Miller

That's a great idea, Patrick; sounds like Frank is the unofficial Williams historian. This would be a great tribute to Jerry's memory.

I recently sent 2 of my Williams locos to Frank for repairs, and received them back in excellent working condition. Frank is great at what he does. Thanks again Patrick! Looking forward to meeting you at York.
