This A-A Milwaukee Road set is only one of two Williams locomotive I own. I know they aren't perfect in many details but I'm going to detail these engine because I really like them. About what would the cost be and is it worth it. Most of my engines are photo sound 2 or 3. Thanks for any help. Don

Yes, if you really like it. Williams engines are great candidates for ERR Command Control upgrades. The Cruise Commander is about $130. and the Railsounds Commander is about $90. Both plus shipping. They are easy to install for the average hobbyist and come with instructions (which can be found online). Several members here do them for retail customers (GGG, GRJ & others)
Hi Don!
Like you, I also only have one set of Williams locomotives. I upgraded them to Electric Railroad TMCC "Cruise Commander" which provides very precise speed control and a consistent speed on gradients. The best feature is the constant speed negotiating inclines.

That sounds good fellas. I think that's a plan. My only other Williams engine is a 44 ton diesel that I converted into an electric (3-D printed the body) that runs on overhead with my other little mine engines. They don't venture out on the mainline so conventional control is fine for them. Thanks again. Don

PS3 would cost even less to install. Kits list at 200 bucks and pretty much include eveything you need including lights and couplers, excluding a smoke unit.
