Williams Genesis Diesel.....Need Help Identifying this PART and a Source to Order a "REPLACEMENT" | O Gauge Railroading On Line Forum

This Part was handed to me at the Club Site Saturday by a fellow Member. He said it was off the upper part of the Truck Assembly from a Williams Genesis Diesel. If you look closely, you can see a portion of it is broken off. The only marking I can see on it is: 1-A-4A. He also said he thought it was identical to the one used on the MTH Diesels (Minus the "EAR")! Can anyone help me identify the Part and a source to order one for him?

It looks like a truck mounting unit.

goes inside the locomotive and goes through

the chassis into the dummy truck. screws go

through the truck and into truck mounting unit.

you may be able to order one direct from

Bachmann.

now that I think about it, Ive swapped out some dummy trucks in Williams locos

to make them powered units. Let me chck my parts box and see if I have that

part. Ill get back to you tomorrow. If I have one, You can have it for free.
