Our internet provider took a lighting strike on it's equipment two nights ago and our service has just come back a short time ago. Two days without the ability to stay tuned on this Forum, not good.
How about you, have you recently experienced a similar outage and had to suffer the train info withdrawal symptoms?

A couple of years ago we lost power during a storm. I bought a generator after the storm prior and had it running pronto. I hooked up the refrigerator, a light, a fan, the telephone, the TV, and the internet, made the next 5 days bearable to be able to see what was going on here.
It has been about 5-6 years ago All my neighbors lost power for 6 days. I am the last house on the line. And some how I was the only house not affected by the power outage. The only reason I remember it was because I was on home dialysis. All I can say is that some one was watching over me while My 5 neighbors wear out of power.
Had a sudden failure of my router Monday. Shuts down all internet access for us. Frustrating!

My home computer crashed a couple of days ago and with this heat wave I just don't wont to spend time in the back room.
What luck, my wall AC unit in the back room went about a week ago.
I'll call my PC service when the temp drops. As for the AC unit that can wait until the spring. I guess I'm getting old because more and more things can wait until I feel like dealing with it.
As for getting on this site, that's what work is for.
