New MTH R-36 "World's Fair" Subway (PS 3.0) is not recognized on my layout. Remote reads something like no RF....My DCS is recognizing many of my other locos that I am loading. I took it to my local train store where it also was not recognized...and didn't even run conventional. It does light up, but no movement or sounds. Any suggestions?

Conventional reset, and using DCS try a recover engine. G
Had the same issue on my LIRR PS3 MU set when it came back from MTH repair.
Completely remove it from all locations in the remote and start over again as a new engine. It was in my remote in two places so I was fooled. Something is odd about with the PS3 units.
They added chunks of metal inside to keep the motor car wheels from slipping pulling the add-ons. Probably will be the last MTH power transit item I will buy, junk.
Sirt, MTH did the weight add to my PRR set also, and it still wants to slip with a 3-car load. I'm inclined to think that the traction tire material isn't what it was 15-20 years ago.
