I have a newly finished basement and Mianne benchwork. I want to raise 3 rail GarGraves track to do decent scenery effects. I love WS foam risers. Are they too narrow for 3 rail track? Modifications possible?

I think they are to narrow for O gauge 3 rail track. Would like to use them myself. You could put 2 beside each other, but you have to buy twice as much; gets expensive. They only 2 1/2 " wide.

I suggest you investigate the Vinyl Road bed, from Hobby Innovations. It comes in two thicknesses; 3/8" for main line track and 1/4" for sidings, yard tracks, etc..

Believe he is looking at this product for elevating the roadbed and tracks:
We use the O gauge Woodland Scenic risers under Atlas 3-rail track on the G&O garden railroad. It is a perfect fit. I highly recommend it as a way to gain elevation. NH Joe
This is the Polar Express train running in the rain on the G&O children's display. The risers are on the left side of the photo painted brown under the Atlas track.
This is a photo of the G&O's Depot Yard. One of the problems with a garden railroad is that sections of the display tend to sink over time. The mainline in front of the church has sunk about 3 inches. This portion of the mainline was level with the yard when it was built. We have used the risers to raise the mainline back to its original level. They can be seen under the Atlas track in the foreground. The risers are painted brown. These risers have been place for about two years. They have held up well in the sun and rain. This area of the G&O is scheduled for a complete rebuilding in 2020 to level the track. NH Joe

That is an amazing lifespan. Nice work!
