About 2 hrs. per item. Sometimes 3 on 50’ cars requiring heavy duty rust weathering.

Majority of work is done in under 45min. Dissemble all parts, paint trucks, inside shell paint and undercarriage.

Yes it is done in several stages. Like an oil painting you work from the back to front in reverse.

Car shells, undercarriage is first followed by the roof requirements.

Ends are sprayed next then sides are treated.

Decorating all the lines, rivets, wood slats, plug door detail, etc. takes up most of the remaining time.

Key factor is if you miss covering an area, it will show up and stand out in a digital photo.

I do have paint masking jigs to speed up the process.

 

Basically, thats it.
