   Did you try shutting your Z4K completely down and unplugging it,  wait a couple minutes make sure the breakers are reset properly, and then plug the Z4K back into the wall outlet again, power every thing up again.  I had this happen one time for some unknown reason also.  Have no idea why it happened.  Mine worked fine after doing this restart.

Do as the gentlemen said. I had a similar problem a few years ago with my Z 4000. But mine would state zero and the engine would take off like a bat out of hell. You can read the thread and see if you have the same problem and yes the idiot light on mine lite as well.
