Hi all, my Z4000 has started having the fault light on the right side throttle. The left side is not effected. This happens even if I disconnect everything from the Z4000. Is there anything I can do or is a trip to the repair shop?
Did you try shutting your Z4K completely down and unplugging it, wait a couple minutes make sure the breakers are reset properly, and then plug the Z4K back into the wall outlet again, power every thing up again. I had this happen one time for some unknown reason also. Have no idea why it happened. Mine worked fine after doing this restart.
Do as the gentlemen said. I had a similar problem a few years ago with my Z 4000. But mine would state zero and the engine would take off like a bat out of hell. You can read the thread and see if you have the same problem and yes the idiot light on mine lite as well. Here the thread for your quick reference. https://ogrforum.com/t.../mth-z4000-problem-1 If you have the same problem the solution is at the bottom of the thread.
Thanks, I tried all the suggestions and no hope there. As soon as I turn it on the light goes on steady. Looks like it is going on vacation back to MTH.
