Have a new Z4000. When I turn it on the left shows 2 volts, even with the handle all the way down. The right shows 0 volts. It seems to work fine, not sure if this is normal. Thought they would both show 0.

If you put a meter on the terminals for the left side, what does your meter show for output?

With digital meter, 1.9 on left, 0.0 on right.

Is that something I can adjust? If not, I am guessing it is something that can be lived with. Once it is on, I will adjust up anyway.

Does the left side have a load? if not, put a lighted car or some other small load to see if it drops to zero.
Ok, put a lighted passenger car and no difference. When I test voltage at track, I get 0 but still 2 on Z4000 meter. Wires going into TIU, 2 volts, terminals leaving TIU 0. If it works, probably won’t do anything.
should I get 2 volts leaving the TIU, or is 2 volts too low to register.
Weird behavior. My initial thought: Gotta be a load on there somewhere. Perhaps dust on the terminal points?
