Anything specific to check if any one handle is causing voltage to register on both sides. Put up either handle and both sides will register about the same voltage.

This is NOT a fault of the Z4000- you have a track short or isolation problem where the 2 channels are connected together in your wiring or track plan.
Unplug all wiring from the Z4000 and test thus showing the problem is external.
