How did the carbon rollers look?

Hey TMack! The Rollers looked quite good. I was pleasantly surprised.

@Leroof  Maybe a picture "under the hood" would help identify any inconsistency in the wiring.

a future roller replacement will be done. Right now they are ok to use.

I noticed that the plastic top  cover did not close or sit flush without lining up one of the lamp holder assemblies. It was a tiny bit off center. Needed it to move center and line up  make the cover flush closed.

You have an older ZW and not a ZW-R transformer based upon the core and the 60 ohm resistor on the red lamp.  Have you verified that you are using a 6 volt lamp and not a higher voltage like 18 volts? Can you check that the resistor is not opened? Also that the end is attached to the U common bus strip?

The bulbs are marked GE 50.

The GE50 bulb is a 7V bulb, that’s what you want. If you have a multimeter I would remove the bulb and check across the resistor to make sure that it’s not open and it’s reading approximately 60 ohms.
