Mike - Kudos to you!
How about a free Santa Fe Truck with the purchase of any train building or train car?
The offer's open to anyone now through March 26th. Check out our website!
But seriously, great guess!

J Daddy,
Thanks for asking. Here's a video I took.

I hope you offer both the power plant and a separate sub-station , where two or more transformer/circuit breakers could be joined to make varying sizes of sub-stations.
Makes me wonder what the footprint is for the transformer/circuit breaker.
And again.. ordered... this building fooled everyone!! WOW... This will look great on any layout, and the price is smoking hot. I might have to shut down the Menards Power and Light, or connect the two with electrical lines...
Thanks Mark, I am just going to have to take you up on that offer, going to order one now!
Questions:
1. What are the actual building measurements? Not the shipping box.
2. NO DOG!?!?!?!
Just ordered, I will just give Marks name to my wife and he can explain! LOL
can't wait to get mine Tom
Mark is working on being named a correspondent in a divorce case!! Lol
Great Point.. where is the German Shepard ?????
Electrocuted? Or stolen by an angry wife?

Per the PDF file in Mark's announcement post today... 9.5"W x 14.5"L x 14.75H

Dominic,
The overall dimensions are 9-1/2"W x 14-1/2"L x 14-3/4"H. However that is misleading due to it's design. Here is a floorplan that explains the footprint better.
As for Jack, he needs grass to do his duty. Unfortunately, this building has none.

Talk about nailing the WOW factor! Ordering one up for certain.
Hi Mark, We need Menards in New York State! I just made my first purchase and not thrilled on the charges but I'm getting a great looking building and a free truck!!
Thanks Doug
Will FastTrack or realtrack fit inside?
What would be the time frame, year wise, when this building would of been built. I am going to order one tonight anyways because it is one great looking building. I model up to about 1970...............Paul
Mark, special thanks for posting the additional information/floor plan and video of the lighting options for the sign.
WOW!!!! You guys are hitting them out of the park!!!!
A little modern for my 50's era but I may have to get one and say it's brand new!!!
WOW!!!
I think it looks great. I predict this building will become your number one all time selling building. Nice job!
Jim
You may be right.
Larry
Larry, I ordered on, so I can put it near my airport some day!
Very good. I did to. What the heck
Me too.......I'll make it fit 1950!!!
That's a seriously cool looking building!
Just made my first Menards purchase I think there will be more!..
This one doesn't appear to be a resin building, and neither does it appear to be wood as most of their other buildings are of late. Does this one happen to be more of a molded plastic building?
Either way, I'm sure I'll be getting one heading my way!
Great Job Menards!
This is my first order also! And if I dont get my butt kicked by the wife there will be more to come! :-)
I just ordered mine. As soon as I saw it I said I gotta have it. I think we are going to see some exceptional buildings coming from Menards this year along with rolling stock. I had it sent to the store because I need some tongue and grove wood and they have the best selection..........Paul
Just placed my first order with Menards! What a great looking building, had to have one.
Nice building but too new and large for my Beetin, Downtroddin and Western RR. Maybe some day ??
I don't remember a single person telling me to be the "Menards Train Guy" at high school career day. I feel slighted!
If I was starting my layout over, I might get the power plant. I do have a siding, but I have too much stuff on it to place it on. I am thinking of getting one of those mettal hut buildings, however, I have a plaee one might fit.
Is a layout ever done ? I thought so but, No... Not with Menards coming out with more great products..I just added onto my layout, and here we go again..What to do ?????
Will it work with FastTrack?

Great Job Menards!
mustang,
This is made almost exclusively of wood. We are pretty excited about how it turned out!
Thank you,

play trains and Max,
There is plenty of room in the tunnel to accommodate FasTrack. I've never worked with Realtrax before but I believe FasTrack is wider.

What is the price of this new building ??
