(06/15/23) New! Candy Train Cars from Menards!

Really love the doublemint car. I have lots of Menards rolling stock. I have nagged the other manufacturers so might as well nag you. There are trains in about half of the James Bond movies. Why has no one ever issued 007 rolling stock?

Great question.  What we really need is the Orient Express from From Russia with Love.

Really interested to see the Doublemint car. I have assembled a "Chicago consist," comprised of brands from the Chicagoland area, but have never spotted a Wrigley's product car produced by any manufacturer (am I missing one?)

Awesome!! More candy cars for my candy train!!

Some M&Ms candy ore cars in each color along with M&Ms tankers in each color would be great!!

I think the M&M's Orange Boxcar is a rerun.  I have an Orange M&M's Boxcar that I bought at the Menards in Ames, IA.

Mark, is there any difference between this Orange Boxcar and the one from a couple of years ago?

Hi Vince,

You may be thinking of the red M&Ms car we did. This is the first orange boxcar.

We've done yellow, silver, red, dark blue, green, light blue, and now orange. A person could make a rainbow of our M&Ms cars!

Hi Mark,

I think I own every M&M-related item that Menards has ever made (even the spaceship).  Here is a photo of the Skittles Hopper (very definitely red) next to the boxcar that I am calling Orange. Is the new boxcar orangier than the boxcar that I have?

The Doublemint car arrived today without a working rivet between a truck and the body of the car.  I guess the car was originally packaged with one attached truck with the second truck slid into the packaging after-the-fact. I requested an RMA from Menards. Check yours. There were no problems with the Starburst car.

I ordered the 4 pack of the candy cars, and they arrived today.  The orange box car is identical in color to the "red" boxcar that I purchased in September of 2020.
