I have read posts related to other remote problems but none seem to be my problem. I read the attachment about miswiring and opened up my switch to see if that was the problem but it appears to be wired correctly. I bought numerous remote switches from mostly new LHS. When I first hooked everything up I would notice that many of my trains would stop on two of the 060 switches. All of my other switches worked fine. I have hooked up both with remote power and not but get the same result. After moving switches around, these two switches always have the same problem. Both switches are able to move between straight and curve. Using my multi meter I found I do not have continuity across the center rail end-to-end. I checked other switches and they do. I have one of the "bad" ones open and can find no obvious wiring problems. Anyone have any ideas on problem or other things I can check?

Check the connections from the board to the center rail. Continuity and then voltage.

Follow the center rail  and find where you have continuity from one end to the center and try to locate which rail has the problem. They are separate pieces.

Does the lantern light when powered? If yes, Is it bright or dim?

if no, check the red wire that comes from the connection terminal to the board that has the black shrink wrap on it with a 2ohm 1/4watt resistor inside. If you get a high resistance reading or none, the resistor is bad.

Thanks Moonman.  I started checking continuity underneath and found when I was pressing down with probes sometimes the switch would bend a little and then I had a connection. I traced this down to where the only connection between the end and the rest of the switch was a bent tab trying to connect to circuit trace. I soldered the tab to the trace and now both switches work great. Don't know why only those two switches had this issue; maybe there was a design change that put in a jumper. Anyway, thanks for pointing me in a direction.
