This was mostly a "fill-in" run for me to round out a bunch of E7 A and B units I already have.  Nothing exotic for me except the Frisco Meteor, which TrainBub has already shown, and an A-B MoPac pair for my Eagle cars (new to me).

Anyone have the L&N units?  A little regret that I didn't order a set.

Last week the 4th run 3rd E7s arrived, and these are still the nicest mass produced E7s available in 2 and 3 rail.  This time I opted for 3 rail Penn Central units even though all my PRR ones are in 2-rail.  I have plans to operate these with my early era Amtrak consists which are all 3-rail, so this made the most sense.  PC painted E7s also operated up until 1978 on the NY&LB pulling commuter cars of all varieties from beat up P70s to 2nd and 3rd hand stainless cars from every road imaginable. The only thing missing is the wear and tear of many years of hard service!

Pretty funny.  From the angle in this pic, it looks like the Penn Central E7 has a steering wheel

Overall, very nice looking locomotives.
