Interesting. looking for a way to mimic AutomotionFX's O-gauge front linkage as a 3D print.
This video shows the parts to that could be designed and 3D printed.

Wow! I pretty much reached my limits just putting headlights and taillights in an unlighted O scale car, never mind rebuilding a motor to fit, installing remote control and steering mechanisms, and packing in a battery to boot, all at N scale!
My only minor quibble is that the video makes it seem the start-stop and turn signal changes are synchronized with and responding to the street lights, whereas they are apparently being remotely manually controlled by the operator. IMHO the next automation step would be to interpose some sort of arduino or other computerized control, sending IR control signals to the vehicle to match the light changes and the vehicle location.
