I bought this mainly for the gas pump. While the truck is a 1:43 scale, the pump is much larger. I'm a little disappointed but I'll use it near my 1:53 tractor/trailers.

Very nice, where'd you get it? Tractor Supply?

Looks good to me. Love the pump.

You could always place the pump in an area that is further away from where you usually stand while operating. Though larger in size, doing that would make it appear smaller from your viewpoint.
I love the John Deere stuff and have a couple items on my own layout. When I was growing up my Grandma worked at the small John Deere shop in Newton, Illinois which just happened to be one block from the crossing of Illinois Central's Peoria Division tracks (Peoria, IL to Evansville, IN) and the Effingham, IL to Indianapolis tracks. This train and tractor loving boy was in heaven when visiting his Grandma at work.
I bought the truck off Ebay years ago. I like the pump.

Wow, that pump is cool. Too bad it is so big, but like you say, you can use it to fill 'big' rigs!
www.diecastdirect.com has E46237 Ertl 1/43 John Deere X48s Lawn Tractor Mower for $5.95. They also sell True Scale Miniatures 1/43 Fuel Pumps for $19.95 (which is a little pricey in my book). There are other makers of gas pumps that are less expensive but you have to paint and decal them yourself.
