Wondering if there is a simple way to do this. Inst/diagram helpful. Is it a good idea?

The 6-12194 cable set is your best option for not cutting the plug off of the transformer.

Thanks Gilly. Does same apply if I want to wire switches with direct Accessory Power
What Tom is talking about are the adapters in the center of this picture. They make the transition from Lionel's Molex plugs to wires. The other option is to just cut off the plug.
However, the problem with using a PH135 is it is an 18 VAC only source. Many accessories work better at 14 VAC or even DC.
Within the last month there was a good thread on how to lower the voltage using resisters. Maybe someone will provide a link.
I use a ZWC with three PH135s attached for my accessories. That way I can fine tune it to the accessory. For DC I use computer power supplies.

What type of layout do you have Rob? Are you running conventional or command control?
The powerhouse produces a constant 18v, you'll need a powermaster or TPC unit so you can set your accessory voltage lower.

I currently run conventional but was thinking about Tmcc and using the bricks if practicle. Seems if using transformer and bricks for only track using any tmcc would be best.
Thanks everyone. Was just contemplating. Layouts only 12x4 currently so this can get tabled for now
