No, I posted about glueing shims to the guard rails of ATLAS O turnouts. NOT Ross, as my layout is ALL ATLAS O.

The guard rails are a little lower, but the rest of the turnout is so well constructed that the only issue I experience (11-degree) is with the frog. We have a #8 curved turnout (O-120/O-96) on the layout and we put in a moving frog point to support 2-rail cars as the frog is much larger.
