20160408_003955Has there been a post on 200 motor s.

I replaced an armature bushing . with a 2020m.17 ..from train tender.

Did not want to take the time to remove gears..don't know if you use puller or press..or both.

I did have to make a tool to fit over worm gear . the 2020 i believe has a bigger OD.

You can aee where metal is deformed.. So if i do it again.will remove gears and size the bearing. And the bearing sets height for arm windings..so need to watch that..i got it to low. And had to redo it.  Rubbed some varnish off windings..nail polish ..to coat.. Motor runs fine now...

Having a shoulder would be ok. I am also using plastic plate on bottom. Reamed. .128.5. For arm shaft bottom.

I guess i could of put this with woodplate post..it is the motor for trolley.

But the 200 is 0 ga..
