I have a question, does tmcc crewtalk have more than only one announcement? I am using a cab-1 standard tmcc remote and base with a nkp 779 tmcc berkshire. Thanks!

Depends on what level of RailSounds you have. RailSounds 5 has multiple tower announcements and crew responses, however RailSounds 4 usually only has one tower com and garbled crew talk.
As always, the product number would have made it a lot easier to provide a complete answer.
Mine was in the 2008 volume 2 signature catalog, i think its rs 4. Not sure though, it has 2 towercom announcements and 1 crewtalk that i know of
Towercom: please hold your position; you are clear to go; crewtalk: (cannot really understand)
That is definitely RS4. RailSounds 5 came about in early 2005, as far as I remember, so this engine probably came around more like 2002 or 3.
Yah, your probably right. The lionel catalog probably would have said rs 5 instead of just railsounds. Here is a link to the website http://www.lionel.com/products...-779-w-tmcc-6-38610/
and there is the product number....
I have this engine... great sound. Yes only one dispatch and one crew talk announcement. 2 chuffs... I can hear the whistle in my sleep.
Yah great engine and sound i agree just got it saturday last week i was listening to the beautiful multitune whistle also just uploaded video to youtube on this engine https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=zwGSTLznPPg
try pressing the aux1 key and then 7, you may get a "please standby" alternate announcement.
Yah everytime i press aux 1 and 7 it gives me either "please hold your position" or "you are clear to move", though i have to say for $300 that was a great buy
I usually press the AUX1/2 key, if it's garbled talk, I assume it's RS4, if it's clear, it's a later version.

it typically isn't random. a leading aux 7 should produce standby and a 7 key when the previous key is NOT aux1 will produce a "good to go" message.

The earliest catalog I could find my engine in was the 2007 one with like 70 pages (that is a really thick catalog). The catalog only said railsounds though other higher end engines in the catalog said rs 5
