I have a newly acquired 226E that I hope to find a 2226W tender to match. I have noticed that the drawbar post in the engine cab is all the way forward in the cab of the engine. Just looking at it without an actual tender it appears to me that it may have problems negotiating O-31 curves.
Anyone out there running a 226E with a 2226W tender that can tell me what the minimum curve size is for this configuration?
