Alex/Dina,
Tried to persuade Mr. Maddox one more time to attend with me and he does not want to make the trip. Maybe he hears that Ed Boyle will be there to share drinks, I could get him to attend,
See you all in 2 days.

Hi Alex... It's Steve.... Would really love to attend, but unfortunately had a death in the family. I hope to attend York this year. Once again, thanks for always being so kind and a true gentleman. Talk to you soon.

Alex
I'm sure everyone will have a great time.
See all you guys there, will be there about 1:00.

Everyone drive safely!

We are looking forward to this wonderful event. Last year was a blast.
question of protocol. Since it's weekend and for many that means a very late breakfast, would bringing doughnuts be in Bad taste? Don't want to overlap a glazed doughnut with Festa Italiana.

Sorry I'll miss your open house this year Alex….baseball playoffs. See you soon!
I am located on Long Island. When I heard about your open house I really wanted to come and meet you and all of the awesome OGR members who will be there. Sadly, I have to work all weekend. I hope you'll host an Open House next year. I really want to meet you.
LOVE YOUR YOUTUBE VIDEOS!
Looking forward to it, just wish the weather was a bit better.

I agree with you John, we are hoping it at least dries up. the same thing happened last year, by the afternoon the sun had come out
For those attending the weather should be fine by noon. It's clearing up fast down by me Alex and I'm a short distance away.
Family commitments prevent my attending this year Alex. I do hope that all goes well and that everyone has a great time today.
Steve
Alex, tell Dina that the fudge is made (with some just for her) and will be there in a few!
Save a piece of fudge for me Dennis.
I'm not really worried about the weather, just makes the drive easier if it's not pouring rain. I think my car is still waterproof, so that's not a problem.
Alex and DIna,
Thanks again for hosting a great party. The food and company was terrific. It was real nice to meet some of the forum guys and gals for the first time. The K4 is great I love it especially the steam whistle. Let me know when my repairs are done and I will see you then.

It was indeed a great party, and I'd expect nothing less from Alex and Dina, they were their usual gracious hosts!
Thanks again, and I hope to make many more of these great events!
Alex,Dina..Thank you again for opening up you're home for the hoard of Train Geeks.
It was really a blast like last year and with such a great group of people you couldn't ask for a nicer get together.
Thanks again Alex and Dina for opening your house to all of us Train-Nuts! As always the food, people, conversations and oh the trains were all fantastic!
Mike C. even said he was wondering if he could barter trains for my Peanut Butter Fudge!
Hmmm, got to see what the conversion rate would be......
Alex and Dina.
Thank you both again for throwing an awesome party. What a great time we had.
Also, thank you to all the Forum members and their families that bestowed thanks and words of encouragement to my son regarding his deployment today. After the party we took him to Jersey City where we said our goodbyes until we see him this time next year. Your kind words were very much appreciated.
Alex & Dina. Sorry we couldn't make the open house this year. Next year I'll have a back up plan for a dog sitter for sure! Hope everyone had a blast.
Dina and I want to thank all who came today, and made this such a great event. We didn't have an exact count, but we had between 65 to 70 people attend today. What a great day it turned out to be, great friends, great food, and lots of trains. Here's some photo's we took.
Thanks again,
Alex & Dina
what a great time we had, the people were the best and the food was delicious. Thank you Dina and Alex. and the JADA Railroad is spectacular.
Alex/Dina,
The open house was just fantastic. I got off the train subject a little talking about pool with Lionel Bill and Mike Caruso, but I did not loose my chance to take another loom at the great layout Alex has. Me and my wife will be looking forward to next year. It was great seeing all the forum mebers.

Had a great time meeting everybody and looking at Alex's train layout.
Thank you Alex and Dina for a great day of good food, friendship and trains. I would like to come back next year if god willing.
Alex & Dina,
Thanks so much for hosting another open house. I had a wonderful time. The food was awesome and the gathering of forum members together offered a great time to catch up with friends who all have such a great passion for O gauge trains.
Alex & Dina:
Thanks again for a truly great day. You are incredible people and Jean & I really appreciate your generosity.
And thankfully, the southbound NJ turnpike was smooth sailing all the way home.
Alex and Dina
Thank you so much for the hospitality and the secret stash of Chocolate Chip cookies.
Chris
Thank you for the food fight
Nice. Looks like a great time.
Great photos. Looks like a good time was had by all.
Alex; nice shirt.
Alex and Dina,
I want to thank both of you for a wonderful day of friends, food, and trains. Dina, the food was great! You might want to bake an extra batch of cookies for the next time (or hide them better from Alex). Alex, the layout is awesome. All those trains running in that space is great. It was nice to meet many of the folks here on the forum in person.
Again, thanks a bunch!
