This is a continuation of the 1st video showing highlights of mainly the south end of the layout.  Actually, this video should have been included in the 1st video I posted this past Tuesday but I am not up on how to edit yet....  Anyway, this is showing only a small portion of the layout with the PRR coal train (and some MP54 coaches running in "South Town") coming from the North Power Station.  The video opens with the PRR coal train coming into the city proper and crossing the lift bridge over the harbor area and then going under the city where it parallels the subway. At the end of the video, you can see the coal train cross over my latest project, the waterfall area.  You will notice that the blue plastic I am using for the stream bed is just hanging over the edge but that will soon be changed!  The next video will be a more comprehensive overview of the layout showing all of the major areas of interest...stay tuned!!  As always, thanks for taking the time to look and comment!

Thanks,

Alan

Alan,

This is one nice video!

Are both 6-unit passenger trains MP54's? What are the diesel engines heading the coal train?

BTW, I too would like to see the track layout. I can envision it since I have seen it in person several times, but a sketch of the track would be nice, especially for those who have never been there.

I think both of us have added quite a bit to our layouts since we last visited.

Good job!

Thanks!...I posted a track plan some time ago.  I will see if I can find it and re-post.  It is just a hand drawing / sketch and is not that well done but you can see the basic plan.

Thanks Alex...means a lot coming from the guy who really knows how to take video!!  I need you to come here and do a good one!  There is only one set of MP-54's running on the south loop so I am not sure what other set to which you refer.  The coal train is being pulled by a MTH PRR RS-11 power with dummy unit.  Yep, only one is powered!

Thanks again Doug.  I would love to have a set of those cars.  Remember riding them!
