I have my milkcar apart to fix a broken wire which I did but I notice the mechanism is sluggish and doesn't fully go back into place so the milkcan can drop into place. Whats the best way anyone out there has found to do this? Thanks
I recently got one of these from the original owner that had been well cared-for, and then put away for decades, so its mechanism was sluggish but not out of adjustment. I just gave it a shot of powdered graphite and manually worked the mechanism until it freed up. Works as good as new. Hope this helps.
