3665 minuteman roof adjustment

I recently acquired a 3665 minuteman car minus the roof. I had a replacement set on hand, but the two sections do not close as nicely as I would like.
The replacement roof pieces were made by Chicago Line around twenty years ago. They included tips on straightening the pieces, but unfortunately, I cannot locate a copy of them.

Does anybody have a copy?
