I'm told that 3d printing is cathartic.  I can believe it.  My partner in crime (he owns everything but I provide the garage) has suddenly become quite the guru in the realm of 3d printing.

The first thing he did was a bunch of the ZW transformer parts that insist on breaking.  These look to be strong and thicker.  I think he made 3 or 4 of them.  The black and white ones are shown in the pic.

Then there was the matter of the  EL track which became necessary since the 031 track wouldn't, um, track, at least not for the ultra long passenger cars.  Elegoo to the rescue with a pile of trestles, made to fit the new 061 track nicely.

It is a good feeling to be able to make the parts you need.   Yesterday it was a 4mm pad to mount the upgraded/working rail sounds 2.5 system in my 18005 tender (similar to 700t).  There was a 4mm rib in the way.  Also a small mount to hold the read switch for the chuff sound.   It took a couple of tries, but it works great now.

Remind him to put the parts he makes on the 3d Print library if he has a mind to.

Thank you for the reminder about putting the project on the 3d print library. I know you have several projects there.  Is it difficult to do?  The original post here is from a forum member, but he is not a digital subscriber... can he make a contribution to the 3d print library even if he is not a digital subscriber? (I get confused easily)
