In my opinion, I think 3rdrail is a little late to the party. With Lionel's wifi and MTH out soon the market is pretty well covered
It's a great party if you have Legacy or MTH equipment. If you only have CAB-1 running your trains, then now you can run them with a Smart Phone as well using the new 3rdrail "Bluewave" dongle.
I think this points directly to "SAW" customers who own and run, Sunset, Atlas and Weaver and who have not adopted Legacy or MTH DCS systems.
The point is not to sell dongles, the point is to get maximum fun out of our models that are already out there, so you don't feel uninvited to the PARTY. You are all now invited.

Nice. Reminds me of the bluetooth dongle used with the first-generation version of Blue Train. Looks much more refined. Can it handle more than one device connection?
Actually, it sounds a lot like the BlueTrain application with a BlueTooth module. I can plug the $10 serial BT module I bought into my old TMCC Base and run trains with BlueTrain.
I'll be interested to see what the application looks like, that will really make the difference.
Well good luck with it. I don't have Legacy but do have TMCC and DCS and since DCS wifi will be able to run my TMCC engines I don't see myself getting this.
