Decided recently that I needed to expand my horizons from strictly UP road models (45 years). I've always been enamored with the orange/brown or orange/maroon, with yellow trim paint schemes of the CGW, GM&O and IC, as I saw them rolling into St. Louis as a young child. Yeah, I've been train crazy forever.
Anyway, decided to take the leap when I saw 3rd Rail had the CGW units offered on a possible 2nd run and put in a reservation. Scott contacted me the next day to let me know he had one set in stock and I bought them.
Arrived today and I couldn't be happier. Sharp, sharp models.
