Dear Folks,
It's been a long and winding road to get these Berks built, but they are now in production. Please see our web site for pictures of these fine models. They are being built by our premier Korean builder in China, who brought you the VGN 2-10-10-2 and UP FEF of late.
Along side the Berkshire production are the PRR L-1 mikados. Both of these fine engines will be coming in 3 - 4 months time. If you haven't put in a reservation, please do. Yes, we changed the valve gear mistake on the Mikados.
You can see them at: http://www.3rdrail.com/reservation.html#ERIES4

I am here in China inspecting the HO NP and SP&S Z8s. The final inspection is on Friday, and I am going to stick around to see that the C&NW H-1 Production is going smoothly. The C&NW H-1 4-8-4 is due to arrive in late April.

Also on Friday I will be testing a pilot sample of the N&W 4-8-0 Mollies. Yes, they are coming. These will arrive in the late summer.I will post pictures after our review.
Next out of the gate is the N&W Jawn Henry Steam Turbine. We are also producing the N&W Auxiliary water tender, that goes with Y-6b's too.
After the Jawn Henry, the factory is producing the SP Lark Aluminum cars and the Light Weight Sleepers we just announced.
Then the NYC T-3 will be produced. Lots and lots of good models coming in the next 6 - 9 months.
Then the FP7A and F7B units.
Later this summer THE CANADIAN should appear.
Our Korean builder in Korea is finishing up the GN 08 Mikados, and I will be checking a production sample on my trip home.
We are currently working on the design of the SP AC9, PRR Baggage, Theater / Scenery Express cars, Santa Fe Super Chief 1951 and CP P2 Mikados with our design team here. The technology we are using now will avoid a lot of the missteps of the past. Using Pro-E, 3D modeling, these engineers can run our models through what ever track we need and make adjustments to the design accordingly. This makes the production process more smooth, with less headaches and surprises keeping our prices stable.
I want to thank all of you that participate in helping with data, reviewing drawings and making comments about our models so we can continue to improve.
Thank You All,
Scott Mann - China
