Certainly is a beautiful model and a good-looking engine with a rare wheel arrangement.

Yes.  I have lobbied against multiple repetitions of photos - it adds nothing to the discussion.   I think the "moderators" should remove the "reply with quotes" button.

But maybe my point is better made by setting a record.  I think we would have to repeat these nice photos at least ten times to break the old record.  This is probably only #7 ?

Does anyone have the strasburg version # 475?

An excellent model, its one I wish I had grabbed when it was coming out but life and wallet got in the way. I would certainly jump at the chance if they were offered again.

I got rid of the shields along the running boards on the 475 and I might have changed the smokebox fronts and footboards around on some of the engines. I intend to change the numbers someday.

I had a an open house recently and there where a few more people looking for these engines as well. They've become pretty popular. I don't need any more but I wish the best for those looking for a rerun.
