one dealer claims the 44 ton is on the water. Is this correct? Any ETA on when dealers start getting theirs?

Bueller.....Bueller......Bueller?
No, they are not on the water. They will be shipped from Asia at the end of August and arrive in Columbia, MD. end of September. Sorry for all the delays, but you will love them!
I was also hoping to get a better idea on the delivery of this item. Your website says October. Is that still accurate?
Charlie Nassau says it's coming. MTH website is saying this month.
October...this month...couple of weeks, more or less.
Ranks among my most wanted and long-awaited locomotives. I lobbied for a scale version with command control for a good number of years. I have one on order with a drummer friend of mine who just happens to also own a train store in western Pennsylvania. None available in my preferred roadname(s) at this point, but repainting should be easy enough.
Time to start working on the 2nd batch - O&W !
Please make a Great Northern in the CORRECT prototypical green and orange scheme, numbered 50 or 51! Please!

Just curious... How do you know if it will be the correct color or not until it arrives?
I happened to notice MTH had a nice write-up on their website in the description menu for the 44T about recording the sounds from the two REAL 44ts up at Walkersville Southern (I used to volunteer on the train crew).
The engine in the photos is the 44t that came from Strasburg. The description describes the 44t that came from South Carolina. Both are owned by Jamie. The Strasburg 44t is used occasionally on the passenger trains.
Have any dealers received their shipments of these from MTH yet?
It would be nice to save time with one on a certain, prominent, display layout next week.
